Sigil, what's next?
We're in Sigil, waking up. Sugar is sneaking around.
Tasha + Illustrial did some divinations to figure out where we need to go. Eberon is next.
Mournlands, blasted past battlefield. Scifi city, covered in mist, surrounded by magic.
Strangely transformed land.
Magical effects are unpredictable, mutant monsters.
May find colossus, war machines. Rod may be inside one. Can be size of mountains.
Visit magic shop One Eyed Centaur.
Portal Key: gold pocket watch We need to go to the Lower Ward, Way Statues of Reflection.
Rival adventurers
We run in a Harmonium Guard, seems nice. At the shop we buy some stuff. The shopkeeper is a monstrous squid guy.
Jain is suspicious some guys are following us, jumps over to them. Gnarls interrogates.
We're stopped by imposter Harmonium guards. Its an ambush!
They steal the portal key, two escape, two die, we keep the rod. The assailants are servants of Vecna, survivors are twin elves (!).
New portal key: grasshopper in amber.
Silverhand casts gentle repose on Radily + Argean. We realize the twins are Drakon and Seraphina.
On to Eberon
We rest up and go to Eberon, appearing on the lightning train.
Gnarls gives the officer a Ring of Protection to pay our tickets.
Maxim of House Orien.
Gnarls tells the owner of the train we've come to play at the Fyre Festival. Colossus, safety, this guy wants to undercut the market.
He's going to get us a map of the Colossus in the Mournlands.
The Mournlands
We stop at a small rustic town in the Mournlands. Deep woods, wet, Transylvania like. Run down.
Chat up Orc + Warforged. Bozack + Mercy about getting a guide to the Colossus.
They're reluctant, the places are dangerous + sacred, angry dead. Gnarls convinces them. Bozack agrees to guide us.
Warforged are despondent/etc. Related to colossi.
Band of Blades is very dangerous.
Economy is hand to mouth, salvaging ruins of war. Docent was used to power the colossi, so valuable to help everyone. Weapons, magic, etc is the loot everywhere.
Next step, Colossus Landro
Using the rod, we determine that the rod is at the colossus Landro, on Mt. Iron Rod.
The mourning caused Landro to teleport into the mountain and get severely damaged. It was the biggest and didn't see combat.
Couple days to get there. Cold weather gear.
Bozack gives us some ground rules and makes it clear he's not going to help us defend ourselves.
